|At Mobile World Congress in Shanghai, Huawei presented a new strategy for the 5G era, based primarily on a smartphone, but with increased engagement. While the competition sees only 5G and has advantages in terms of speed and reach, Huawei announces the future and announces “1 + 8 + N” strategy that places the smartphone at the center of everything. |
IoT (Internet of Things) products focus more on smartwatches, television, and smart glasses.
Part “1” refers to smartphones. Part “8” refers to smart TVs, connected cars, tablets, mobile devices, computers, headphones and everything that enriches and supports the main product – smartphones. Part “N” is a place where everything is connected, like smart homes, mobile offices, etc.
Huawei is focused, at least for 2019. On smart TVs, the first models will appear on the market during the year. With HiLink and the enhanced IoT system, it will be easier to keep everything together, including privacy and security.
